37 overseas complaints resolved in Gujrat

Gujrat: Deputy Commissioner Gujrat Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi chaired a meeting of the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee to review pending complaints and applications submitted by overseas Pakistanis.

According to official sources, the committee reviewed 87 cases relating to various departments, including police, revenue, the District Health Authority, the District Education Authority, the Deputy Director Local Government (DDLG) office and other departments.

The sources said that 37 cases were disposed of in the light of reports and affidavits submitted by the relevant departments, while the remaining cases were referred to the concerned departments with directions to submit complete reports within one week to ensure their early disposal on merit.

Additional Commissioner Headquarters (ACHR) Waqas Mehboob, Law Officer Jamshed Shah, officers of the relevant departments and representatives of the district police attended the meeting.
