Lahore: A 40-year-old man Adnan was killed while standing outside his house in a firing incident in Taranwale Bazaar of Baghbanpura here on Saturday.
According to the police, as soon as the information was received, SP Cantt Atif Amir, SHO Baghbanpura and a large contingent of police reached the spot. The injured Adnan was shifted to the hospital for immediate medical attention, but he succumbed to his injuries.
The police took the body of the deceased into custody and shifted it to the dead house for postmortem. According to SP Cantt Atif Amir, a case has been registered against the named accused Shahbaz and Shiraz on the complaint of the deceased’s father Bashir.
A police team is being formed to arrest the accused and raids are being carried out at various places.
SP Cantt Atif Amir says that the accused will be arrested soon and brought to justice, and legal action will be taken against them as per the law.
