Faisalabad: CPO Tanveer Hussain has said that all possible measures are being taken for the welfare of the families of martyred policemen.
Paying tribute to martyrs on ‘Police Martyrs Day’ here on Tuesday, the CPO said that 115 police officers and soldiers had so far sacrificed their lives in the district during protection of lives and properties of the people and paid them salute.
‘We salute the mothers of martyrs who sacrificed their sons’ lives to protect the lives and property of the citizens’, he said. CPO Tanveer Hussain said that martyrs’ day is a day of commitment that living nations always remember the sacrifices of their martyrs.
He said that 32 MoU (Memorandum of Understandings) have been signed with various educational and health institutions to provide the best education and health facilities to the families and children of martyred policemen.
