Sukkur: Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur on Wednesday observed Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir with a solidarity rally, one-minute silence and a ceremony to express unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, Dr. Muhammad Qasim Sodhar and Additional Commissioner Sukkur, Naveed Mirani addressed the ceremony. The speakers highlighted the significance of Youm-e-Istehsal, strongly condemned the gross human rights violations in IIOJK and reaffirmed Pakistan’s moral, political and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
The participants raised voices in solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren and vowed to continue raising their voice against Indian oppression.
On the occasion, a plantation drive was also organized by the AUSC Go Green Society, Aror University, under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, to nurture nature, inspire civic responsibility and grow hope for future generations.
