Quetta: The Balochistan government has declared the notification circulating on social media regarding the extension of summer vacations as fake and schools of summer and winter zones to be reopened as per the previously issued schedule on Monday (August 3).
The School Education Department Balochistan has clarified that no official notification has been issued to extend the vacations.
School Education Department said that the notification of the extension of the vacations viral on social media is fabricated, fake and devoid of legal status.
The School Education Department has directed the public, parents, teachers and students would not to believe the fake notification and ignore it.
According to the School Education Department, all government and private schools in the summer and winter zones would be reopened on Monday, August 3, 2026, as per the previously issued schedule.
All Directors of Education, District Education Officers and Heads of Institutions have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the timely opening of schools.
The School Education Department has directed all concerned authorities to immediately raise awareness regarding the fake notification, its contents should be conveyed to all public and private educational institutions for interest of the education.
