Quetta: Pakistan Peoples Party Balochistan’s President Senator Sardar Muhammad Umar Gorgage, General Secretary Rabbani Khan Kakar, Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and others on Sunday visited the polling station set up in Quetta in connection with the Kashmir elections.
Focal Person of Chief Minister Balochistan Syed Iqbal Shah, Quetta Division President Khair Muhammad Tareen, Provincial Leader Hayat Khan Achakzai along with other senior party leaders were present on the occasion of visiting polling station.
The party leaders reviewed the electoral process, voting procedures and other arrangements.
The leaders said that the enthusiasm of the Kashmiri people in the elections of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is proof that they are exercising their democratic right with full awareness.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has always defended the rights of the Kashmiri people and their right to self-determination.
The stance of the founding chairman Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on the Kashmir issue is a bright chapter in history, and even today, under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the party stands by the Kashmiris.
They said that the PPP is the guarantor of the stability of democracy in Kashmir and the political and fundamental rights of Kashmiris, and God willing, the PPP would achieve a resounding victory in these elections.
During the visit, the leaders also met polling staff, voters and party workers and expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of the election process.
