Lahore: Under CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Suthra Punjab vision, The Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore (SPAL) sanitation teams remain active across the city to provide citizens with improved cleanliness services at their doorsteps.
CEO LWMC Sheryar Arif Khan is also conducting daily field visits to monitor sanitation arrangements. During his visit to Gulberg Town, he visited College Road, Makkah Colony and Gurumangat Road, where he met local residents and obtained direct feedback about waste collection services. He also reviewed the door-to-door waste collection operation.
On the directions of the CEO Sheryar Arif Khan, more than 1,000 SPAL workers and 134 operational vehicles have been deployed for a special cleanliness operation in Gulberg Town. As many as 170 loader rickshaws have also been deployed to ensure 100% door-to-door waste collection.
CEO Sheryar Arif Khan personally monitored daily mechanical sweeping and washing activities on major roads, including MM Alam Road, Kalma Chowk and Noor Jahan Road. He also visited Ali Zaib Road, Main Market, Liberty and Barkat Market and reviewed the cleanliness situation.
He said Suthra Punjab Lahore teams are ensuring timely clearance of containers and door-to-door waste collection across the city. He also urged citizens to cooperate with the Suthra Punjab teams.
