Sargodha: Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shoukat Ali on Monday directed the authorities to ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean and safe drinking water to residents of New Satellite Town while reviewing the performance of the outsourced water supply system.
The directive came during a meeting attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADC) (Headquarters), Managing Director of WASA, Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation, representatives of the outsourced service provider, Best Mensol (Pvt. ) Ltd and other officials.
According to officials, the meeting reviewed the performance of the outsourced water supply service, operational issues, consumer complaints and measures to improve service delivery.
The commissioner said no compromise would be made on the quality of water supply services and instructed the departments concerned to ensure a reliable supply to consumers.
He also called for improved coordination among relevant agencies and stressed that public convenience should remain the top priority.
Officials briefed the meeting on the current status of the water supply system, the challenges being faced and the steps proposed to enhance service standards.
