Quetta: Commissioner Makran Division Qadir Bakhsh Pirkani inaugurated 40 solar street lights at cost of Rs, 2. 7 million in Teaching Hospital Turbat on Faraday. After inauguration, he inspected various departments and also emphasized the improvement of medical facilities.
The inauguration of solar street lights installation was made at Teaching Hospital Turbat under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund of Mirani Housing Scheme.
The Commissioner said that the aim of this project is to provide effective lighting at night in the hospital premises and provide a safe and better environment for patients, attendants and staff.
Deputy Commissioner Ketch Yasir Iqbal Dashti, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Maqbool Anwar, Medical Superintendent Teaching Hospital Dr. Abdul Waheed Buledi, Principal Makran Medical College Dr. Afzal Khaliq, Dr. Miran Dashti, Dr. Asif Baloch, Dr. Attaullah, PA to Commissioner Nasir Hassan and other doctors and concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
The Commissioner Makran Division directed Deputy Commissioner Ketch to complete the ongoing development and improvement projects in the hospital within the stipulated time frame so that more quality medical facilities could be provided to the public.
He said that inter-agency cooperation is very important in public welfare projects, and the installation of solar street lights would significantly improve the lighting system of the hospital, which could directly benefit the patients, attendants and hospital staff.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Abdul Waheed Buledi thanked the Commissioner Makran Division and said that the provision of solar street lights would significantly improve the environment and facilities of the hospital, which would provide more convenience to the citizens coming for treatment.
It should be noted that the Commissioner Makran Division and Project Director Mirani Housing Scheme provided a grant of Rs. 3. 7 89947 million for the installation of solar street lights in the Teaching Hospital Turbat, through which a modern solar lighting system has been installed in the hospital premises.
