Crackdown against narcotics continues in Nawabshah


Hyderabad: The district Police have continued their crackdown against narcotics, and in this regard Sakrand Police carried out a major operation and seized a large quantity of gutka-related material.



Acting on the special instructions of SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Sameer Noor Channa, police teams across the district have intensified operations against drug trafficking.



During routine patrolling, the SHO Sakrand Police Station and his team signaled a suspicious white Corolla car to stop. However, two suspects fled the scene after abandoning the vehicle.



Upon searching the car, police recovered 20 large sacks filled with gutka, mawa, and supari material used in preparation of narcotics. The total weight of seized material was approximately 500 kilograms. Police have taken the recovered material and vehicle into custody and initiated legal proceedings.



Preliminary investigations suggest that suspects were involved in supplying material to different areas of city. SSP Sameer Noor Channa appreciated the performance of Sakrand Police team and directed officials to intensify efforts to arrest the fleeing suspects through raids at multiple locations.
