Faisalabad The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Faisalabad Circle has taken its cyber safety awareness drive to the classroom, holding an interactive session at Government High School Ghulam Muhammad Abad to equip students and teachers with practical knowledge about cybercrime, online safety and responsible use of social media.
According to NCCIA officials, the awareness session was organized by NCCIA Faisalabad Circle SHO Aamir Sultan and his team at the government school where students and teachers were briefed about emerging cyber threats and precautionary measures for safer use of digital platforms.
During session, the NCCIA team highlighted the importance of exercising caution while using the internet, websites, social media platforms and various mobile applications.
The participants were informed about potential risks associated with unsafe online activities and the measures that could help protect personal information and digital accounts.
The officials also sensitized students to the responsible use of social media, urging them to remain vigilant while interacting online and avoid sharing sensitive personal information with unknown individuals or untrusted platforms.
The session also focused on promoting awareness among young internet users so that they could recognize potentially harmful online activities and adopt safer digital practices.
The agency’s awareness initiative aims to enhance understanding of cybercrime and online safety among students and teachers, enabling them to use internet-based services and social media platforms in a more secure and responsible manner, NCCIA officials added.
