Sialkot: Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali on Thursday chaired the first meeting of the newly constituted Governing Body of the Centre of Excellence Danish Schools, highlighting the importance of its role in improving educational standards and institutional governance.
According to a spokesperson for the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, the meeting was attended by Principal Centre of Excellence (Boys) Shahbaz Hassan, Principal Centre of Excellence (Girls) Lady Anderson Higher Secondary School Syeda Iram Shirazi, governing body members Chaudhry Shakeel, Dr Maryam Nauman, Fareeda Khawar, Muhammad Owais and other relevant officials.
The deputy commissioner said the governing body would play a key role in achieving the objectives of the Punjab government’s flagship education project through effective administration and quality education. She expressed hope that members would work collectively to provide students with modern educational facilities and an improved learning environment.
The meeting reviewed academic standards, institutional performance, student welfare, administrative affairs and ongoing development initiatives. The deputy commissioner directed all relevant departments to ensure close coordination for the continuous improvement of educational facilities in line with the Punjab government’s vision.
