DC orders immediate action on citizens’ complaints during public day in Murree

Rawalpindi: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, on Wednesday, met directly with citizens during a Public Day held at his office to listen to their grievances and ordered immediate, merit-based resolution of all administrative and civic complaints.



A large number of citizens from various walks of life presented applications regarding basic amenities, revenue issues, local government affairs and development works.



The DC reviewed the requests on the spot, issued directives for immediate action on several cases, and warned line departments that no delay would be tolerated in resolving public issues.



Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi said that the district administration is utilizing all available resources to provide timely relief to the public, adding that redressing public grievances and improving service delivery remain top administrative priorities.



He urged concerned officers to perform their duties with professional integrity to strengthen public trust in government institutions.
