Hyderabad: Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abedeen Memon on late Monday night visited Imam Bargah Qadamgah Maula Ali and inspected the routes of the Chehlum procession of Shuhada-e-Karbala to review arrangements ahead of the observance.
According to a handout, during the visit, the deputy commissioner monitored cleanliness and sanitation activities carried out after the recent rains along the procession routes and directed the concerned departments to complete all necessary arrangements well before the procession. He emphasized ensuring proper cleanliness, drainage of stagnant water, uninterrupted civic services and all required facilities to facilitate mourners and maintain a peaceful and orderly environment during the Chehlum observance.
