Lahore: A resolution to pay tribute to the defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye was submitted in the Punjab Assembly on Saturday.
The resolution was submitted by Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) member Shoaib Siddiqui, in which the historic defence agreement has been described as a great progress for the region and the Muslim world.
The text of the resolution states that the joint defence agreement will be an important milestone in promoting peace, stability and balance in the region. The defence agreement is a manifestation of the global prestige and trust of the Pakistan Army.
The trust of brotherly countries in Pakistan will be further strengthened by the historic defense agreement, it said.
