Hyderabad: DIG Shaheed Benazirabad Range Faisal Bashir Memon, on Friday, chaired a meeting regarding security arrangements for 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal at the Range Office.
Inspector General Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho participated in the meeting via video link and issued directives to ensure foolproof security arrangements across the province on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The meeting was attended by religious scholars, organizers of Milad processions and gatherings, district police officers from all three districts of the Shaheed Benazirabad Range, and other relevant officials.
Addressing the meeting, DIG Faisal Bashir Memon emphasized that comprehensive security should be ensured for all processions, Milad gatherings, and events on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. He said that additional police personnel would be deployed at procession routes, entry and exit points, sensitive locations, and places of worship.
He also directed that search, sweeping, and intelligence-based operations be further strengthened. DIG directed all concerned officers to ensure full implementation of the security plan.
