Sargodha: Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff (AVLS) Sargodha on Friday busted a motorcycle-lifting gang and arrested its two members, recovering 35 stolen motorcycles and a rickshaw worth Rs2.4 million, police said.
A special police team, led by SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chaddar, conducted a raid and arrested Naeem, the alleged ringleader of the gang, along with his accomplice Abdullah. During preliminary interrogation, the suspects allegedly confessed to their involvement in dozens of motorcycle-lifting incidents in various areas of the city.
DIG Investigation Imran Abbas Chaddar appreciated the AVLS team for its successful operation and effective performance.
