Divisional level Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conference held


Peshawar: District Administration Kohat on Thursday arranged a divisional Seerat-un-Nabi conference as part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s Ashra-e-Rahmatul-lil-Alameen (PBUH) Programme to highlight the teachings and life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).



The conference was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Moatasim Billah and attended by religious scholars, government officials, students, and residents besides Chairman DDAC and MPA Daud Shah Afrid, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohat, and other senior officials.



The event opened with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by naats in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).



Speakers highlighted different aspects of the Prophet’s life and teachings, saying that his message provided guidance and a source of welfare for all humanity. They stressed the need to inform young people about various aspects of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) to promote character-building based on Islamic values. They said such events would help strengthen social harmony, moral values and unity among Muslims.



In the Quran recitation competition, Qari Muhammad Sohail of Orakzai secured first place, followed by Qari Ammar of Kohat and Qari Ziaur Rehman of Karak.



In the naat competition, Muhammad Owais of Hangu won first place, Abdullah of Kohat was second and Kamal Hussain of Orakzai secured third place.
