Larkana:Deputy Commissioner Larkana Tariq Manzoor Chandio visited the Government Girls Primary School located in Chandka Medical College Staff Colony, Larkana the other day, to review educational facilities and assess the condition of the school building.
District Education Officer (Secondary) Larkana, Executive Engineer Education Works Larkana, Assistant Director Planning and Development Larkana, and other officers and officials of the Education Department were present with the Deputy Commissioner.
During the visit, the Executive Engineer Education Works Larkana briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the ongoing works and the current condition and structure of the school building.
The school headmistress informed the Deputy Commissioner about the facilities currently available in the school, as well as the incomplete and required facilities. She requested the construction of two additional classrooms and one staff office, along with the provision of necessary facilities, to meet the school’s needs.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer Education Works Larkana and the Assistant Director Planning and Development Larkana to identify all incomplete facilities, compile their record, and prepare a PC-I accordingly. He further directed that the proposal be sent to higher authorities for the provision of funds and required facilities in the school. The DC emphasized the need to ensure proper educational facilities for female students and a conducive environment for learning.
