Chiniot: A solidarity rally was organized on Sunday by the School Education Department on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to express support for the defence agreement among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. District Education Officer (Secondary) Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Deputy District Education Officer Muhammad Ishaq, other officials, teachers, religious scholars and civil society representatives participated in the rally.
The participants later attended a seminar at Government High School, where speakers welcomed the trilateral defence cooperation and described it as the beginning of a new chapter for the Muslim world. They said Pakistan would continue to play its role in promoting Muslim unity and collective security at the global level.
The speakers expressed the hope that the agreement would contribute to peace, security and stability in the region and strengthen cooperation among the three brotherly countries. They also highlighted the importance of unity and collective efforts to address challenges facing the Muslim world.
The participants raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and offered prayers for the progress, prosperity and security of the country. They also reiterated their support for initiatives aimed at strengthening regional peace and collective security.
