Five arrested as administration foils attempt to occupy state land in Jalalpur Pirwala


Multan: The district administration foiled an attempt to occupy government land worth millions of rupees in Jalalpur Pirwala and arrested five suspects allegedly involved in illegal construction, here on Sunday.



The operation was conducted in Islam Pura under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Jalalpur Pirwala Mukram Sultan. According to the Assistant Commissioner, the suspects were constructing houses on government-owned land.



The administration demolished the illegal structures and cleared the site using heavy machinery. Construction material and other items found at the site were also taken into custody.



Assistant Commissioner Mukram Sultan said government land worth millions of rupees had been retrieved while cases were registered against the suspects. Local residents appreciated the prompt action taken by the district administration to protect state land.
