Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday said that the folk artists of Balochistan are true ambassadors of the province’s culture, traditions and positive identity.
He said this while talking to Naseerabad’s well-known folk singer Gul Mir Jamali called on him after inviting at Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
While, Naseerabad folk singer Gul Mir Jamali’s wish to meet the Chief Minister of Balochistan was fulfilled today. He expressed his love and devotion through songs to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
During the meeting, Gul Mir Jamali thanked the Chief Minister of Balochistan, describing the meeting as a memorable moment in his life, and presented loving songs in his traditional style.
The artist also sang a song in the presence of the Chief Minister, which Mir Sarfraz Bugti appreciated him artistic talents.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the folk artists of Balochistan are true ambassadors of the province’s culture, traditions and positive identity.
He said that it is the responsibility of the government to encourage local art and artists and such talented individuals would continue to be patronized.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti praised Gul Mir Jamali’s sincerity, love and commitment to art and said that art is an effective means of connecting people’s hearts and spreading a positive message in society.
He expressed his determination that the government would continue to take all possible steps for the promotion of Balochistan’s cultural heritage and the welfare of local artists.
On this occasion, Gul Mir Jamali expressed his gratitude for the love, compassion and encouragement of the Chief Minister of Balochistan and said that meeting him is an honour for him.
He said that he would continue to further promote the message of Balochistan’s culture and love through his voice.
