Karachi: Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has issued an important statement regarding the Mir Raza case. According to the minister. Karachi Mayor and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Barrister Murtaza Wahab has spoken to Mir Raza’s mother.
The Minister said the Sindh government had decided to initiate a judicial inquiry to ensure transparency and provide complete reassurance to the affected family. Following the formation of a new police investigation team. the family has expressed confidence in the new team and stated that they want it to conduct the investigation into the matter. Therefore. on the request of the parents. the decision to establish a judicial commission has. for the time being. been deferred. Lanjar said.
