Karachi: The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met a seven-member delegation of Dawat-e-Islami Trust at Governor House.
The delegation was led by Central Member of the Majlis-e-Shura Fuzzail Raza Attari. The meeting discussed religious harmony, tolerance, humanitarian service and other matters of mutual interest.
On the occasion, the Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi appreciated Dawat-e-Islami’s services for distressed and vulnerable people without discrimination of colour or race. He emphasized that religious harmony, tolerance and service to humanity are important for the betterment of society.
Fuzzail Raza Attari briefed the Governor of Sindh that Dawat-e-Islami Trust is carrying out welfare activities and promoting the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah in 150 countries.
He also stated that a project is underway to publish the Holy Quran and Islamic literature in 28 languages for people with hearing and speech impairments.
Fuzzail Raza Attari also presented books on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the Seerat Library at Governor House.
Various matters relating to the welfare, social and religious activities of Dawat-e-Islami Trust were also discussed during the meeting.
