Quetta: Commissioner Nasirabad Division Salahuddin Noorzai on Friday said that like every year, Independence Day would be celebrated with national spirit, full enthusiasm and in a dignified manner.
He said this while chairing a meeting regarding the preparations for the Independence Day.
The meeting was attended by DIG Nasirabad Range Kamran Nawaz, SSP Nasirabad Asad Nasir, Assistant Director Local Government Ahmed Nawaz Jatak, Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) Zaheer Ahmed Imrani, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Salim Khan Domki, Divisional Director Schools Muhammad Azeem Sajidi, Deputy Director Sports Feroz Ali Abro, District Forest Officer Naeem Jan Lehri and other concerned officers.
On the occasion of the meeting, Commissioner Salahuddin Noorzai issued directives to concerned departments to finalize preparations of Independence Day.
He said that that like every year, this year, Independence Day would be celebrated with national spirit, full enthusiasm and in a dignified manner, while the grand ceremony of hoisting the central flag at the divisional level to be held in the Commissioner’s office.
He directed that all government offices, government residences and important buildings across the division should be decorated with colorful lights, events should be organized in educational institutions, sports events and tree plantation campaigns should also be launched, arrangements for cleanliness, installation of national flags and wall chalking should be completed across the city, while security arrangements should also be finalized to maintain peace and order on the occasion of Independence Day.
