KP govt reshuffles senior bureaucracy, promotes two officers


Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday announced a fresh administrative reshuffle, promoting two senior officers and assigning a new posting to another in a move aimed at strengthening the provincial administration.



Under notifications issued by the Establishment Department, Additional Secretary Finance Tariq Mahmood has been elevated to Grade 19, while Managing Director of the Merged Districts Education Foundation Fariha Pal has been promoted to Grade 21. The promotions were approved on the recommendations of the Provincial Selection Board and took effect immediately.



The government said separate notifications regarding the new postings of the promoted officers would be issued in due course.



Meanwhile, Special Secretary Health Tariq Ali Khan has been transferred and appointed as Director General of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Environmental Protection Agency with immediate effect.



The Establishment Department has issued formal notifications implementing the promotions, transfer and appointment.
