Lehri terms Makkah Joint Defence Accord a milestone for peace. progress in region


Quetta: Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Transport. Mir Liaquat Lehri on Monday termed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement as an important milestone for bringing peace and development of the areas.



He said that unity. mutual trust and joint cooperation between the three brotherly Islamic countries would play an important role in promoting peace. stability and prosperity in the region. said a statement issued here.



He said that the relations between Pakistan. Saudi Arabia and Turkiye were not limited to just diplomatic ties but were based on brotherhood. mutual respect. trust and long-standing brotherly relations.



Liaqat Lehri said that promotion of cooperation in various fields including defence between the three countries would not only help in protecting common interests but could also further strengthen unity and solidarity among the Muslim Ummah.



He said that in the present era. the region needed mutual cooperation and a common strategy for peace. stability and economic development.



He mentioned that the coming closer of brotherly countries like Pakistan. Saudi Arabia and Turkiye and the signing of the Makkah Defence Agreement would pave new ways for them to play a positive and constructive role in the region.



Mir Liaquat Lehri said that Pakistan has always sought strong. lasting and mutually beneficial relations with its brotherly Islamic countries. the strong friendship of Pakistan. Saudi Arabia and Turkiye was a message of peace. stability. development and prosperity for the entire region.



He prayed that Allah Almighty may further strengthen the love. unity and cooperation between the three brotherly Islamic countries and that this friendship became a source of peace and prosperity in the Muslim world and the region.
