Abbottabad: Abbottabad Police have solved the blind murder case of young Arman Ali in Bugnotar and arrested the main accused, police said on Wednesday. SP Investigation Ayaz Khan, while briefing the media, said the case was traced through professional investigation, modern techniques and available evidence.
According to police, Arman Ali had gone into a forest to graze cattle on June 15, 2026, when he was allegedly shot dead. Following the incident, Bugnotar Police registered a murder case and launched an investigation from different angles.
Police said continuous investigation led to the identification and arrest of the main accused, Ozief, son of Humayun. Two other nominated accused, Humayun, son of Abdul Rehman, and Faisal, son of Wali Stan, have obtained pre-arrest bail from the court.
During the investigation, police found that a domestic dispute was allegedly behind the murder. Further interrogation of the arrested accused is underway, while the roles of the other suspects are being determined in accordance with the law.
DPO Abbottabad Haroon Rashid Khan praised the police team for tracing the case and said the protection of citizens’ lives and property was the foremost priority of Abbottabad Police. He said strict and indiscriminate legal action would be taken against elements involved in serious crimes.
