Karachi: Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, Muhammad Ali Malkani, Wednesday, stated that ‘Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir’ marks one of the most tragic chapters in human history.
The Modi government, on August 5, 2019, trampled upon the special constitutional status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in violation of the international laws and UN resolutions, Malkani said in a message on ‘Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir’, observed across Pakistan to express solidarity with the oppressed people of IIOJK.
The usurping Modi government launched a brazen assault on the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people in 2019 but the soil of Kashmir remains stained red with the blood of its sons to this day, he observed.
Despite all tactics of oppression and tyranny, the flame of the freedom movement continues to burn bright and the resilient Kashmiri people, with unparalleled steadfastness and resolve, have scripted a saga of freedom that will forever be recorded in history in golden letters, he remarked.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to continue supporting the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination at every level, he said that the entire Pakistani nation stands in complete solidarity with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
The Sindh minister also urged the international community to take immediate notice of the grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and secure the inalienable right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.
