Meeting held to review security in sensitive districts


Peshawar: A high-level meeting chaired by the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Interior and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, was held to review the law and order situation in sensitive districts.



The meeting focused on strengthening security protocols and ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property.



Chairing the session, Tariq Marwat reiterated that the government remains committed to making security arrangements in vulnerable areas more robust and comprehensive. He emphasized that the protection of the public is the state’s top priority.



‘The protection of the lives and property of the people is the government’s foremost priority. Security measures in sensitive areas must be made more effective and comprehensive, ‘ Tariq Saeed Marwat stated .



He further assured participants that all available resources would be utilized to combat terrorism and ensure sustainable peace in the region.



‘All available resources will be employed to eliminate terrorism and establish lasting peace, ‘ he affirmed . The meeting was also attended by senior officials from law enforcement and district administrations, who presented a detailed briefing on the current security landscape and future strategies .



The government’s resolve to maintain order and its collaborative strategy with local stakeholders were central to the discussion, reflecting a unified approach to address security challenges .
