Mirpur (ajk): Member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Syed Shaukat Ali Shah, from treasury benches, visited the Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital Mirpur and reviewed its overall administrative and medical affairs.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital Prof. Dr. Ejaz Ahmed briefed the MLA of the hospital’s services and facilities being provided to patients. He expressed satisfaction over the available healthcare facilities.
Syed Shaukat Ali Shah also underwent a medical check-up at the hospital.
Hospital management conducted examination of Shah sahib including blood tests, an X-ray, an eye examination and a detailed ear check-up at the ENT Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital Mirpur was playing an important role in providing healthcare services to the people of the region. He said continuous improvement in medical administration was essential for ensuring timely and quality treatment to patients.
He appreciated the efforts of Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Ejaz Ahmed for improving the hospital’s system and enhancing healthcare services for patients. He also assured his full cooperation for further improvement of the hospital and expansion of medical facilities.
The AJK legislator said all relevant institutions and officials must play their effective role in ensuring quality healthcare for the public. He reaffirmed his commitment to public service and said he would continue contributing to the welfare of the region, particularly the accelerated development of the health and education sectors.
