Larkana:Under the leadership of Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana Range Shiraz Nazir, the monthly performance report of Larkana Range Police has been released on Thursday. According to the report, a total of 1,064 suspects were arrested during various operations. In Larkana Range, 140 police encounters took place between police and criminal elements, in which 5 dacoits were killed while 25 dacoits were arrested in injured condition.



During police operations, 25 gangs were eliminated, while 114 other criminals were arrested. During one month, 520 proclaimed offenders and 430 absconders were also arrested, and 2 hand grenades, 5 Kalashnikovs, 70 pistols and revolvers, 5 shotguns, and 150 rounds of ammunition, 75 kg 401 g charas, 5 kg 550 g ice, 550 g heroin, 250 kg 800 g gutka, 75 kg 680 g cannabis, and 290 liters of liquor were recovered. During the operations, 3 hostages were recovered, while during the Najat Mehran operation, more than 5 suspects surrendered to police, he added.



According to the report, 5 police personnel were injured while performing their duties. Crores of rupees were also spent on the welfare of police officers and personnel. On the other hand, through the Complaint Cell, Inquiry Cell, Women Protection Cell, and Police Facilitation Center, the issues of thousands of citizens were heard during one month and steps were taken to resolve them, he said.
