Bahawalpur: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candiates have withdrawn their nomination papers, announcing support for Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) candidate in NA-168 By-Election Bahawalpur seat. Addressing a news conference here, senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Syed Ali Haider Gilani announced that all PPP candidates are going to withdraw their nomination papers in favour of PML-N candidate, Malik Muneer Iqbal Channar in NA-168 By-Elections that was vacant after the demise of MNA, Malik Iqbal Channar. ‘Following the instructions of the central leadership of the party, PPP decided that its candidates will withdraw their nomination papers in favour of PML-N candidate in NA-168 By-Election,’ he said, adding that now, PPP would support PML-N candidate in the by-election. On this occasion, PML-N candidate, Malik Munir Iqbal Channar and others were present.
