Islamabad: Minister of State Kheal Das Kohistani said the entire nation is deeply saddened by the tragic gas explosion that occurred in a shanty settlement in recent days, resulting in the loss of precious human lives and the destruction of a once thriving household.
Speaking to media, he stated that the minority community affected by this incident would receive all possible assistance and would not be left alone in this difficult time. The minister emphasized that Hanif Masih is not alone, as the whole nation and the government stand firmly with him.
Referring to a similar gas cylinder explosion that previously occurred in Hyderabad, Kheal Das Kohistani said the government will formulate a comprehensive policy to prevent such incidents in the future and to safeguard lives.
He further noted that the house provided to the affected family lacks basic facilities, assuring that the government will ensure the provision of all essential amenities.
The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the rehabilitation of the affected families, stating that their support and recovery remain a top priority.
