Muzaffargarh: A man was killed while two others sustained injuries after a makeshift roof structure collapsed during the construction work adjacent to a mosque in Basti Mubarakpur, Khan Garh area near here Tuesday. According to Rescue 1122, the dead was identified as Javed Hussain while injured were identified as Muhammad Asghar and Abdul Razzaq. On information, emergency teams rushed to the scene and pulled out the victims from the debris. Rescue personnel provided first aid to the injured at the site, while one victim was administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). All the victims were shifted to Indus Hospital, Muzaffargarh, for further treatment. The cause of collapse was yet to be ascertained.
