Lahore: Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal chaired a performance review meeting of Social Security Directorates at the institution’s head office, here on Tuesday.
He directed all field formations to achieve recovery targets within the stipulated timeline and strengthen monitoring and inspection mechanisms. The meeting comprehensively reviewed recovery targets and administrative affairs of the Lahore (City), Sheikhupura, Faisalabad (North), Gujrat and Sialkot Directorates. Relevant directors and senior officers attended the session. During the meeting, the directors presented detailed briefings on the prevailing recovery position, implementation of Maryam Nawaz Ration Card Programme, inspection activities, field operations and other administrative matters.
Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal reviewed the performance of each directorate individually and ssessed progress against assigned targets. Emphasizing improved institutional performance, the commissioner directed the officers concerned to ensure timely achievement of recovery goals. He also instructed them to further strengthen the field monitoring system, expedite inspection activities and adopt effective administrative measures to enhance overall performance.
He stressed that all relevant officers must ensure efficient implementation of assigned responsibilities and achieve their targets within the prescribed timeframe.
