Islamabad: Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMandDC) has rescheduled the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 from August 16 to September 20 to ensure the smooth, secure and transparent conduct of the examination.
The PMandDC, in a statement issued on Thursday, said the decision was taken on the directions of Prime Minister to facilitate candidates while ensuring fair and efficient examination arrangements.
The council said all other terms, conditions and examination arrangements would remain unchanged unless notified otherwise. It advised candidates to regularly visit the official PMandDC website and its official communication channels for updates and further instructions.
The PMandDC appreciated the understanding and cooperation of candidates, parents, educational institutions and other stakeholders, and regretted any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling.
