Sialkot: Police on Wednesday paid rich tribute to martyrs to honor their remarkable sacrifices here at Police Lines, a release said on Wednesday.
While addressing,District Police Officer (DPO) Captain (Retd.) Dost Muhammad said that the greatest asset of any force was martyrs, whose unforgettable sacrifices remain alive in the hearts of the nation forever. He stated that the Police Department made countless sacrifices to maintain law and order in the district and across the Punjab.
He highlighted that the peace prevailing in the province today was secured through the blood of police martyrs, who laid down their lives fearlessly while performing their duties.
‘We pledge that if the Police Department is ever called upon to make another sacrifice for the protection of our beloved homeland and its people, we will continue to fulfill our responsibilities as the frontline force and carry forward the mission of our police martyrs under all circumstances’,the DPO concluded.
On the occasion, police officers, personnel, and representatives of civil society participated in large numbers.
