Rajanpur: A talented student of Punjab Daanish School Fazilpur, Muhammad Qasim, who secured an outstanding 1, 191 marks out of 1, 200 in the Science Group in the Lahore Board examinations and earned distinction across Punjab, was appointed Honorary Deputy Commissioner of Rajanpur for a day in recognition of his remarkable academic achievement and hard work.
Deputy Commissioner Rajanpur Imran Hussain Ranjha appreciated Muhammad Qasim’s exceptional performance and entrusted him with the honorary position for one day. The initiative was aimed at encouraging talented students, highlighting their abilities and inspiring the younger generation to pursue education with dedication, hard work and determination.
Muhammad Qasim arrived at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office with official protocol, accompanied by his mother, and was warmly welcomed by the district administration. During his honorary tenure, he observed various official activities and proceedings at the office and gained an insight into the working procedures of officers and staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Imran Hussain Ranjha said that talented and hardworking students like Muhammad Qasim were a valuable asset to District Rajanpur. He said that achieving such an impressive academic position despite limited resources was a testament to the hard work and dedication of Qasim, his parents and his teachers.
The Deputy Commissioner said that encouraging high-achieving students would motivate other children to excel in education and strive for excellence in their respective fields.
During his visit, Honorary Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Qasim also planted a sapling in the lawn of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
Qasim’s mother expressed happiness over her son’s achievement and thanked Deputy Commissioner Imran Hussain Ranjha and the district administration for recognizing and encouraging his academic excellence. She said that her son being appointed Honorary Deputy Commissioner for a day was a moment of great pride for their family.
At the conclusion of the programme, Deputy Commissioner Imran Hussain Ranjha presented Muhammad Qasim with a certificate and prizes in recognition of his outstanding academic performance.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) Hafiz Imran Naseer and Deputy Director Public Relations Dr. Muhammad Adil Nawaz Khan were also present on the occasion.
