Lahore: The Punjab government is engaged in providing best health facilities to the people. Since January 1, 2026, free treatment facilities have been provided to lakhs of patients in 57 specialized hospitals of Punjab, the data of which has been released.
Since January 1, 2026, more than 16 million patients have been provided with diagnostic tests, more than 5.5 million surgeries, more than 100,000 MRI scans, more than 327,000 CT scans, more than 56,500 angiographies, while about 4,000 patients have been provided with free mammography facilities.
The figures reflect the Punjab government’s efforts to ensure the provision of quality and free healthcare facilities to patients at specialized hospitals across the province.
