Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Department has set a 7-to-10-day target for making significant progress in clearing pending compensation cases and directed concerned institutions to complete bank payments for eligible cases within 24 to 48 hours.
The directives were issued at the eighth review meeting chaired by Secretary Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement KP, which reviewed the upgradation of the Digital Compensation System dashboard, progress on pending cases and payment arrangements.
The meeting examined measures for expediting outstanding compensation cases, resolving documentation and technical issues, improving bank payments and strengthening the monitoring of cases through the digital system.
The Secretary directed all concerned departments and institutions to maintain effective coordination and take integrated measures for clearing the remaining cases within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting also stressed for close monitoring of the digital compensation system, capacity-building and training of staff and prompt resolution of technical issues affecting the portal.
