Abbottabad: Rescue 1122 Abbottabad has deployed emergency response teams at vulnerable and key locations across the district ahead of the expected monsoon rains to ensure a swift response to any emergency.
The deployment has been made on the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Fahad and Regional Director Operations North Arshad Iqbal, under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Hafeez Rehman.
According to Rescue 1122, emergency teams, ambulances, rescue vehicles and essential equipment have been placed on high alert and kept fully prepared to deal with any untoward situation during the monsoon spell.
Rescue 1122 has advised citizens to exercise caution during rainfall, avoid unnecessary travel, stay away from streams, nullahs and floodwaters, and contact the emergency service immediately in case of any emergency.
