Peshawar: Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of police personnel following a firing incident targeting traffic police in Tank district.
Paying tribute to the martyred officers, he prayed for the elevation of their ranks and for the bereaved families to be granted the strength to bear this loss with patience.
Tariq Saeed Marwat stated that the police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty are the pride of the entire nation, and the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain.
The Special Assistant directed relevant police officials to ensure legal action against those involved in the incident and to further strengthen security measures in the area.
He affirmed that the police and other law enforcement agencies would continue to fulfill their responsibilities regarding the protection of public life and property with unwavering resolve.
Expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs, Tariq Saeed Marwat stated that the government stands with the martyrs’ families during this hour of grief.
