Sialkot: The Sambrial administration will organise the Independence Day Mushaira on August 11 as part of the celebrations marking the Independence Day, with leading poets from across the country expected to participate.
According to a press release, the literary event will be held under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Sambrial Adnan Bashir Waraich at Noor Mahal Marquee on Airport Road near Dry Port Chowk at 7:00 pm.
Renowned poets, including Tehzeeb Hafi, Ali Zaryoun, Wajid Ameer, Syed Hasnain Mohsin, Tajdeed Qaiser, Zaib-un-Nisa Wasiq, Tajammal Kazmi, Khurram Afaq and Muhammad Idrees Qureshi will participate. The assistant commissioner invited the general public to attend the Mushaira and join the Independence Day celebrations.
