Sarfraz Bugti pays tribute to police martyrs on Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police


Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, in his special message on Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police, hailed the sacrifices of police martyrs as the nation’s greatest asset and ‘the crown of Pakistan’s honor. ‘



He said that the officers and personnel who laid down their lives for peace, rule of law, and protection of citizens wrote timeless stories of loyalty, bravery, and duty.



Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the sacrifices of police martyrs remained a shining chapter in national history and would always be remembered with respect. He noted that Balochistan Police has long been at the forefront of the fight against terrorism, extremism, and crime, with courageous officers and personnel offering their lives to uphold peace, strengthen the writ of the state, and safeguard citizens.



Paying special tribute to the martyrs of Ziarat, the Chief Minister said their supreme sacrifice in battling terrorists stood as a lasting example of courage, resilience, and patriotism. He added that their bravery was a source of pride for the entire nation, and the provincial government salutes the patience and sacrifices of their families.



Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the Balochistan government considers the welfare and dignity of martyrs’ families a state responsibility, implementing practical measures for their financial support, education, healthcare, and other essential needs. He reaffirmed that the government was investing heavily in enhancing police capacity through modern training, advanced weaponry, protective equipment, technology, and infrastructure to effectively meet evolving security challenges.



He stressed that the sacrifices of martyrs demand that the struggle against terrorism, extremism, and anti-state elements be further strengthened. Reiterating his resolve, Bugti declared that there would be no compromise on peace, rule of law, and protection of citizens, and the sacred mission of police martyrs would be carried forward to completion.



The Chief Minister said that Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police serves as a reminder to honor the sacrifices of brave officers, express solidarity with their families, and renew the pledge that their blood would never go in vain. He affirmed that the Balochistan government, police, law enforcement agencies, and the people stand united to defeat the nefarious designs of peace-enemies once and for all.
