Sialkot: Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), held a meeting with representatives of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) at SCCI to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening industry-focused technical education.
During the meeting, both sides deliberated on the development of new industry-oriented courses designed to meet the evolving skill requirements of the industrial sector. The discussion focused on aligning vocational training programs with the changing needs of businesses to ensure the availability of a skilled and competent workforce.
Both sides emphasized the importance of close collaboration between industry and technical education institutions to bridge the skills gap, enhance workforce employability, and support the sustainable growth of Sialkot’s industrial sector.
