Rawalpindi: Police have arrested six individuals and recovered illegal weapons from their possession during operation here on Sunday. According to police spokesperson, the arrests were made during separate operations conducted in the jurisdictions of Ratta Amral, Westridge, Civil Lines, Sadar Bairooni and Rawat police stations.
Police said weapons and ammunition were recovered from the arrested suspects, while separate legal proceedings have been initiated against them.
Divisional Superintendents of Police (SPs) commended police teams and said that operations against individuals involved in the illegal possession of weapons would continue as part of efforts to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.
