Hyderabad: The Sindh University will award scholarships to 1,074 students at a cheques distribution ceremony which will be held at the main campus in Jamshoro district on August 24.
The varsity’s spokesman informed here on Sunday that the scholarships were worth Rs52.577 million.
According to him, the Sindh Education Minister, Syed Sardar Ali Shah would be the event’s chief guest.
He added that the scholarships were being offered by the Sindh Government, Sindh Educational Endowment Fund, Higher Education Commission Sindh, National Education Scholarship for Talented Students (NEST), Scottish Scholarships for Women and Al-Kausar Foundation.
