Sukkur: Sukkur IBA University will organise a dignified ceremony on Wednesday to observe Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to the university administration on Tuesday, the purpose of the event is to reaffirm support for the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people and to raise voice against Indian atrocities in IIOJK.
Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University, Prof Dr Asif Ahmed Shaikh will be the chief guest on the occasion, while Commissioner Sukkur Division Abid Saleem Qureshi will attend as the guest of honour.
The ceremony will be held at 11:00 am at Academic Block-III of the university.
The programme includes a solidarity walk, observance of one minute of silence to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people, address by the guest of honour and a special address by the vice chancellor.
