Swat footballer Shayan Khan shines at Peace Cup China 2026


Swat: Young footballer Shayan Khan from Swat has made Pakistan and his hometown proud with an outstanding performance at the Peace Cup China 2026 Under-16 Football Tournament, where he represented Pakistan on the international stage.



The tournament brought together Under-16 teams from 32 countries, including Russia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and host China, providing a competitive platform for emerging football talent from around the world.



Shayan Khan delivered an impressive performance throughout the competition, earning the Man of the Match award in four games and finishing as the top scorer of the entire tournament.



His remarkable display earned appreciation for Pakistan and highlighted the immense potential of young footballers from Swat.



Shayan is the grandson of renowned Swat transporter Haji Zahir Shah and son of Arshad Ali Khan.



He is currently receiving professional football coaching at the Mehran Football Academy in Islamabad and is also a student of Bahria School and College Islamabad.



His achievement at such a young age reflects his dedication, talent and commitment to football.
